The 2019 Grassy Waters Nature Photography Contest thanks too many of you, was our most successful ever.
We have already started planning for 2020 and wanted to update you on two exciting additions we will be making.
For the 2020 contest will be bringing back the Close-up/Macro category. That will be in addition to the Landscape, wildlife, creative, smartphone, and black and white categories.
For the first time, we will also have a separate 2020 Youth Nature Photography Contest. This contest will be for photographers under 14 and will be free to enter.
We are happy to report that we will again have our contest opening at the Armory Art Center, and after that, the winners will be displayed at the Mandel Library in West Palm Beach, and Grassy Waters Preserve.
The rules for both contests will be posted on the Conservancy website grassywaters.org.
We have also posted on the website a schedule of all of our currently planned photography activities for the 2019-2020 season.
For the first time, we are planning some photo walks during the summer and we hope you can join us. It will be great to see images with all the foliage green and the water levels high.
