The contest is intended to showcase the natural environment and diversity of Grassy Waters Preserve by amateur photographers. The contest is a great way to support the Preserve, the Everglades in West Palm Beach.

There are four adult categories (Landscape, Wildlife, Black and White, and Closeup/Macro) and a free Youth category. Images can be taken in 2024 or any time in the past with any photographic device (traditional camera, smartphone, iPad, etc.).

Judging will be by a professional photographer, and the GWC and Preserve staff.
