The contest is intended to showcase the natural environment and diversity of Grassy Waters Preserve by amateur photographers. It is a great way to support Grassy Waters Preserve — the Everglades in West Palm Beach. Images must be taken in or of the Preserve property. There are four adult categories (Landscape, Wildlife, Black and White, and Closeup/Macro) and a Youth category. Images can be taken this year or any time in the past with any photographic device (traditional camera, smartphone, iPad, etc.).

Judging will be by a professional photographer, and the Conservancy and Preserve staff.
