Photo walks in the preserve

Sat January 10, 4-6 PM – Restoration Area. Meet at Nature Center parking lot by 3:45 PM. Map.Fri January 16, 8:30-10:30 AM – Apoxee Trail off Jog Rd. Meet at parking lot. Map.- Sun February 1, 4:30-6:30 PM – Full moon sunset walk, Cypress Boardwalk Trail. Meet at Nature Center parking lot by 4:15 PM. Map.
- Sun February 15, 8:30-10:30 AM – 45th Street SWA Palmetto Trailhead entrance to Owahee Trail. Meet at parking lot. Map.
- Fri March 27, 7-8 PM – From the Nature Center, after the photo contest reception. Map.
Photo walks are exclusively for Grassy Waters Conservancy photography members. Click here for membership information. Members can register here for one or more of the walks. The walks are free for photography members, but some of the walks have limited availability, so register early. Photo walks are a great opportunity to interact with other photographers and capture images for the annual Grassy Waters Preserve Photography Contest.
Photography Membership
All photographers are encouraged to become Grassy Waters Conservancy photography members. Cost is only $50 per year and is a tax deductible contribution to Grassy Waters Conservancy. Click here to become a member.

About Jerry Ginsberg
Jerry is an award-winning photographer whose landscape, nature and travel images have graced the covers and pages of hundreds of books, magazines, travel catalogs, and websites. Jerry has led photo walks and photo workshops through many US National Parks including Everglades National Park. He is also a past judge for the Grassy Waters Preserve Photography Contest.
Jerry has been awarded Artist Residencies in several National Parks all across America and has appeared on several ABC TV programs discussing our National Parks. His work has been exhibited from coast to coast and has received numerous awards. Jerry’s photographic archive spans virtually all of both North and South America.
