(June 29, 2020) With today’s many challenges, the Conservancy mission to support, promote and protect Grassy Waters Preserve, the Everglades in West Palm Beach, and a major part of the regions water supply, is more important than ever.
To better meet that goal, the Conservancy has added two summer interns to our communications team. These new internships will help us move more quickly to update, improve and expand our communications activities. With so many internships cancelled around the country they will also provide an opportunity for two students.
The Conservancy is pleased to announce two new interns who are students at Clarkson University. Cynthia Huerta, a sophomore in Civil and Environmental Engineering, who will be supporting the Conservancy social media and email activities. Isaac Choi is a Junior Engineering and Management major, who will be supporting the Conservancy website. The Conservancy is excited to partner with Clarkson, an independent, nationally-recognized technological university.
One of their first priorities will be posting the results of the 2020 photo contest and then adding the new 2021 photo contest information.
