The Conservancy applied for and received a $3,000 grant from the Kate Svitek Memorial Foundation. This grant will be used to create a new summer program at the Preserve, will fund the intern to implement the program, and purchase binoculars and dip nets to be used by the children visiting the Preserve. The successful program was held in June and July, and additional information will be available shortly.
