Conservancy Sponsors 6 Class Trips to the Preserve

In early 2017, started by an anonymous donation from a Conservancy supporter, the Conservancy began and has now provided six third grade class trips to Grassy Waters Preserve. The students have had the opportunity to experience the Everglades in West Palm Beach, learn about the water supply and the importance of conservation, and participate in swamp tromps and dip netting. Four of the classes were from Westgate and two from Westward elementary school’s in West Palm Beach.
