The Grassy Waters Conservancy mission is to support, promote and protect Grassy Waters Preserve for environmental education and research, and nature based experiences, while ensuring its ecological integrity, and in concert with its role as a regional water supply.
PHOTOGRAPHY
The Conservancy Photo Group provides numerous exclusive member activities and programs for anyone interested in nature photography and improving their photography skills.
The Photo Group is a separate level of membership and is also a great way to support the Preserve, the Everglades in West palm Beach.

The contest is intended to showcase the natural environment of Grassy Waters Preserve by amateur photographers. The contest is a great way to support the Preserve, the Everglades in West Palm Beach.
There are four adult categories (Landscape, Wildlife, Black and White and Closeup/Macro). Images can be taken at any time or in the past, with any photographic device. Entries are during the month of February.

This will be a new free Grassy Waters Preserve nature photography contest for children under the age of 14 on January 1 st of each year. Images can be taken with any photographic device, and submitted at anytime during the contest year.
