WEST PALM BEACH, FL (August 12, 2021) – Citizen scientists are helping to reveal the beauty and history of Grassy Waters Preserve of West Palm Beach, and more volunteer assistance is needed. By participating in the Chronolog Citizen Science Project, citizen scientists can help create a time-lapse video documenting seasonal changes in the city’s 23-square mile wetlands ecosystem and drinking water supply source.
There is no cost to participate. All you need is a smartphone! When visiting Grassy Waters Preserve, directions will guide participants to the Nature Center. There, a photo station explains how to take and submit the photos. Grassy Waters Preserve is located at 8264 Northlake Blvd.

The Chronolog Citizen Science Project is sponsored by Grassy Waters Conservancy, a non-profit partner with the City. The Conservancy supports, promotes, and protects the Preserve for environmental education and research.
