Photo Contest Exhibit

The 2025 Photo Contest exhibit opening reception was held on Friday, April 4th at the Nature Center. All contest participants and Conservancy Photo Group Members were invited and over 50 people attended. Barry Schein, the contest judge announced the grand prize photo and talked about some of the things he looks for when judging the contest.

The grand prize winner was “Sunset” by Diego Silva II. His parents, Diego and Janine, were presented with a matted and framed print of the winning entry.

Prints of all of the awarded photos will be on display at the Nature Center until the 2026 contest with occasional pauses for other exhibits. Awarded photos include 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each of the five categories, the honorable mentions, the People’s Choice and the Nature Center’s Choice.
