GUIDED RESTORATION AREA PHOTO WALK Friday, February 8th
GRASSY WATERS CONSERVANCY PHOTO GROUP
Guided Restoration Area Photo Walk
Friday, February 8th from 3 to 5pm
Join us February 8th for the second Guided Grassy Waters Conservancy Photo Group walk of the 2018-19 season. This will be the Preserve Restoration Area from 3-5pm, an area not regularly open to the public and will be led by National Geographic photographer Raymond Gehman and a member of the Nature Center staff.
The Grassy Waters Nature Center is located on the south side of Northlake Boulevard about a mile west of the intersection of the Beeline Highway and Northlake Boulevard.
This walk is limited to the first 15 who sign up. Each participant must sign up in advance.
Raymond Gehman is a nature, landscape, and fine arts photographer who worked for the National Geographic Society for 25 years and teaches photography workshops around the world. By limiting the number of attendees Raymond can give attention to each of the participants, in addition to providing general information on composition and lighting throughout the walk.
This walk should provide opportunities to capture special images to enter in the 2019 Grassy Waters Nature Photography contest. The contest will be accepting entries throughout the month of February 2019. For more information on the contest and to enter, click here.
The cost to participate on the Guided Sunset Walk is:
$10 for Conservancy Members
$20 for non-members
$35 to become a Conservancy member and participate in the walk. Conservancy members are automatically part of the Photo Group, receive advance notice of programs, and discounts on many Conservancy activities.
Registration is full. Please check out one of our upcoming photo walks.
