To kick-off the 15th annual Grassy Waters Nature Photography Contest we will have a special evening program on Monday, January 22nd, at 6:30 pm.
This free program will include a presentation on “What Makes a Great Photograph,” by John J. Lopinot.
Mr. Lopinot will be judging the this year’s contest. He is a certified Florida Master Naturalist and award-winning photographer, worked as a photojournalist and as the Deputy Director of Photography at the Palm Beach Post for 33 years (his website is: johnjlopinot.com). This event will include a one-hour educational program on color, light, composition and other technicalities of nature photography. It will be held at the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center located on the South side of Northlake Blvd about a mile west of the Beeline Highway.
All are invited to this free event. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
