PRELIMINARY RESULTS FROM NSU GRAD STUDENT STUDY

Chase receiving funding from Naomi D’Alessio, PHD Conservancy VP, Education and Research and to the right his NSU adviser Jose Lopez, PHD.

Some preliminary results from an NSU graduate study, partially funded by the Conservancy, presented to the Conservancy Board.

On November 15, 2017, NSU graduate student Chase Donnelly presented some preliminary results from his regional water quality study which is being partially funded by the Conservancy.

Grassy Waters is being used as the study control because of its pristine Everglades environment. His data collection has confirmed the high quality of the Preserve’s water. Following the presentation, Chase received his second funding from the Conservancy. When the study is completed it will be presented to the City of West Palm Beach and likely published in scientific journals.
