Conservancy Awarded Firestone Foundation Grant

Thanks to the effort of Grassy Waters volunteer Ms. Elizabeth Leatherman, the Conservancy was awarded a $3,000 Firestone Foundation grant from The JP Morgan Charitable Giving Fund. The grant is to provide bus trips to the Preserve for elementary school children. Since late 2016 the Conservancy has been funding school bus trips to the Preserve, and this grant will allow that program to continue.
